History of Sailing Yachts
While sailing yachts can run from 20 feet to over 98 feet, those that are owned by individuals typically run the gamut from 23 to about 46 feet.
Yacht charter only becomes more expensive when individuals attempt to maintain yachts that are larger. While during the 1950's most yachts were made of wooden boards or possibly steel, there are many more materials these days that yachts can be made from. Fiberglass, steel, aluminum and wood are some of the most common materials.
